👏 Noting that his country, Nigeria, favours rapid industrialisation to the detriment of environmental sustainability, Fela Akinse wanted to take action and show that it is possible to make aesthetic, practical and sustainable objects from waste: the sole can be changed to extend its life 💪♻️
👉 That's how he created the Salubata shoes!
Combining African art and modern lines, the different models are made from plastic waste and part of the profits will be used to fight against famine in his country!
