In Jakarta, the Indowaste trade show placed innovation at the heart of its 12th edition

 Postponed several times since 2020 due to the Covid-19, the 2022 edition was held at the Jakarta Convention Center from 5 to 7 October.  

The industry’s premier cross-industry event for waste management technologies and solutions, it is the largest show of its kind in Indonesia.  

This year, 550 exhibitors from 30 countries presented their latest innovations in waste collection, recycling and disposal services, as well as energy generation from waste.  

At conferences in the three Theatres, numerous experts came together to present and/or learn about the latest solutions in the fields of street cleaning, sea and land cleaning, hazardous materials disposal, municipal recycling projects and modern landfill management.  

The SeaCleaners was there! On our stand, our team had the mission to ensure a strong visibility of the association in order to establish our presence in Indonesia as an actor in the field of land and sea clean-up, awareness raising and scientific research, together with our local partners.  

The programme included two conferences, discussions with potential collaborators, particularly in waste management, and exchanges with other key players in the sector. Indowaste was the last strategic event prior to the arrival of our Mobula 8 in Indonesian waters and was organised jointly with IndoRenergy and IndoWater. 

This annual trade show will be held for the thirteenth time in October 2023 in Jakarta.
