On Friday, March 10, at 10:00 a.m., The SeaCleaners team in Indonesia was honored to receive an official visit from the Indonesian Minister of Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, at our office in the port of Benoa.
He reiterated the Indonesian government’s commitment to the fight against plastic pollution and its support for The SeaCleaners’ MAPP Mobula Against Plastic Pollution program.

The SeaCleaners thanks Kemenko Marves – Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investments for its support. In Indonesia, The SeaCleaners’ actions are implemented in line with the Indonesian government’s anti-pollution plastic strategy, under a Memorandum of Understanding signed in July 2022 between our NGO and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia.

We are proud to contribute to Indonesian efforts to get rid of river and marine plastic pollution in Bali. Thanks to our partners Bali Marine Service and EFINOR!
The Mobula 8 will be inaugurated in Bali on March 20th and will officially start operating in the region.
