MOBULA 8 puts on a show in Jakarta

For the 2nd year running, MOBULA 8 and the MAPP action program will be honored at INDO WASTE 2023 EXPO & FORUM.

Now in its 13th year, this major technological event brings together all the waste management experts in Southeast Asia. It takes place from August 30 to September 1, at the Jakarta Convention Center, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Initiated by The SeaCleaners, the MAPP Indonesia (aka Mobula Against Plastic Pollution) project aims to combat plastic pollution on land and in aquatic environments in Indonesia. The project brings together several Indonesian partner organizations to implement clean-up operations in Bali’s inland waters and land-based activities to combat plastic pollution, in collaboration with local authorities, organizations and the community. The project is based around our bespoke Mobula 8, a multi-purpose clean-up boat which has been in operation in Bali since March.

We are delighted to be once more a partner of INDO WASTE 2023 EXPO & FORUM, and to have the opportunity to present the MAPP project to industry professionals, local officials, authorities, and the media.
